At the 13th Convocation ceremony of the University of the Gambia, NACCUG and credit unions also have something to show for; 2 staff from two credit unions and 1 staff of NACCUG graduated with degrees. These graduates are manning key positions in the credit union fraternity. NACCUG joins their credit unions and their families to heartily congratulate them on this milestone. NACCUG have no doubt that these graduates will add value to the credit union sector in the Gambia, and the fact that 2 of them are females is an icing on the cake, but what is even more gratifying is the fact that the 2 credit union staff had their entire university program funded by their credit unions. NACCUG would like to thank the board of these credit unions for taking this bold step. NACCUG hopes that credit union boards will continue to empower their personnel.
